It's been a year and a couple of days since Bishop Matthew Clark went into retirement after 33 years as leader of the Rochester Catholic Diocese.
Diocesan spokesman Doug Mandelaro tells us there have been no whispers, hints, or clues from the Vatican about a replacement. He adds they will not get much of a heads up whjen someone is picked.
Bishop Clark submitted his mandatory letter of resignation last summer upon reaching age 75.
