Local leaders are flying high today. This afternoon there's a ribbon cutting marking what is being called the "grand re-opening" of the Canandaigua Airport. Just a little over a year ago the FAA authorized 7.1 million dollars in grant money to extend the runway there to 55-hundred feet to accommodate more corporate jets.
Ontario County Economic Director Mike Manikowski feels they will have a better chance to attract new business here.
The ribbon cutting takes place at 3. Manikowski was a guest on the Finger Lakes Morning News.
