A few area soccer teams hit the field Tuesday.
The West Liberty-Salem varsity girls shut out Southeastern 6-0.
Christy Kauffman scored 2 goals and Morgan Freyhof, Annika Wolfe, Maddie Gantz, and Destiny Kolata each added a goal.
Gantz and Wolfe each delivered an assist.
Hailey Miller recorded 2 saves in goal and Bell Clark contributed a save.
West Liberty-Salem improves to 7-2 overall and 6-1 in league play and travels to Anna Saturday.
The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys kicked past Southeastern 7-1.
Byler Williamson had a hat trick, Cole McDaniel had a goal and 4 assists, and Rickey Lowe and Will Hagstrom each recorded a goal and an assist.
Nik Yoder delivered a goal and Garrett Conklin added an assist.
Sam Warye made 6 saves in goal.
The Tigers (5-4-1) will visit Kenton Ridge Saturday at 6 p.m.

LCS Elite defeated host West Liberty #1 5-1 at Lions Park.
Nikolas Vance scored twice. Xander Vance, Landon Siebeneck, and Kaleb Benny each added a goal.
Keeper David Haley recorded a shutout in the first half.
Morgan Coppel, Jade Lewis, and Ciara Wall anchored the defense.
For West Liberty #1, Jacob VanHorn scored on an assist from Laine Godwin.
Bellefontaine blanked Benjamin Logan Black 2-0.
Robby Weikart scored 2 goals and Sean McClain and EJ Edu each contributed an assist.
Drew Jackson and Landon Earick preserved the shutout in goal.
Raihn Wrocklage played great defense.
U10 soccer:
The High Point Stars edged the Classic Eagles Bombers 2-1.
Dakota Shell and Beau Salyer each scored a goal for the Stars.
Tanner Harte recorded 6 saves in goal.
