The city Batman calls home will be at the center of a new drama being developed by Fox. According to "Entertainment Weekly," the project from Warner Bros. TV will be called "Gotham," and will focus on the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon and the villains he chases through the streets of the comic book city. Gordon was played by Oscar-nominee Gary Oldman in the most recent Batman movies, but so far there's no word on casting for the TV show. "The Mentalist" creator Bruno Heller is set to executive produce the one-hour drama, which has already received a series commitment from Fox.
