>>Cowboys' Spencer To Have Microfracture Surgery

(Irving, TX) -- The season is over for Dallas Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer. His agent confirms via Twitter that Spencer will have microfracture surgery on his left knee and be sidelined the rest of the year. Spencer, who was given the franchise tag during the offseason, already had knee surgery at the end of July and missed the Cowboys' season opener against the Giants. He played in Week Two against the Chiefs, but missed this past Sunday's game against the Rams. Spencer recorded 11 sacks and 95 tackles last season. He will be an unrestricted free agent after this season.

(Allen Park, MI) -- The Lions will be without one of their offensive weapons on Sunday when they host the Bears. Wide receiver Nate Burleson has a broken arm after a single-car accident on Tuesday. The crash reportedly happened when Burleson attempted to catch a pizza that was falling off a seat.
