Cubs Lose, Seal Last Place

Starlin Castro and Anthony Rizzo each knocked in a run but the Cubs suffered an 8-2 loss to the Pirates last night at Wrigley Field.  The defeat guaranteed that Chicago will finish in last place in the NL Central this season.  Chris Rusin was tagged for four runs in under three innings to fall to 2-and-6.
