Family and friends gathered at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Tuesday night to celebrate the graduation of 14 Adult and Continuing Education students from the Nancy J. Knight School of Nursing.
The graduation ceremony immediately followed a 30th Anniversary Open House for the Nancy J. Knight School of Nursing.
Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Superintendent Jeff Price, Ohio Hi-Point Board President Anne Reames, and former Ohio Hi-Point Superintendent Nancy J. Knight shared words of encouragement and congratulations with the students.
Practical Nursing graduate Christina Yoder was the student speaker.
Students who successfully completed the practical nursing program are:
Kristen Benavides, Anna Booth, Michelle Burns, Keri Campbell, Shalyn Cantleberry, Larissa Fannin, Jennifer Hudson, Jessica Mackesy, Aubrey Miller, Molly Petty, Raneka Rogers, Charlene Wiseman, Laurie Woods, and Christina Yoder.
This was the final adult education class to graduate from Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. The adult education division has formed a partnership with Clark State Community College.
Classes will be offered through Clark State, but still take place on the Bellefontaine campus. This allows students to earn college credit while paying a lower tuition rate.
