Dundee Man Sentenced On Attempted Sex Abuse Charge

A Dundee man was sentenced to a year in Yates County Jail after admitting in court he approached a 12 year old girl on the sidewalk last February. 

Daniel White pled guilty to a felony attempted sexual abuse charge. State Police say an intoxicated White approached the girl on Union Street and inappropriately touched her.  The girl immediately ran home and told her parents, who called 9-1-1. White was located a short time later and arrested. 

In addition to his jail sentence, White will have to register as a sex offender.
