The City of Davenport announced on Wednesday the completion of the so-called Village Master Plan, a comprehensive vision of potential improvements to The Village of East Davenport. The master plan, headed up by Matt Flynn of the Davenport Planning and Economic Development Department, was given to the Davenport City Council Wednesday night and has been made available on the City of Davenport website for residents, business owners and historic preservationists to look over. Going forward the Master Plan will be a resource guide for future improvements in the Village as well as a tool in helping to bring new businesses to the area.
