Crops look good so far in Illinois

A late start to the Illinois corn and soybean harvest is producing good results so far. The National Agricultural Statistics Service says only five-percent of the state's corn and one-percent of the soybean crop has been harvested. So far, the corn ratings are ten-percent excellent and 48-percent good and 30-percent fair. On the soybean crop, six-percent excellent, 44-percent good and 34-percent fair.
