Residents in Oregon will see an increase in their garbage bill next month.

City officials this week approved the proposal from Moring Disposal to increase the figure by 60 cents a month.

A resident will see their garbage bill go from $10.60 to $11.20 per month.

Raffle licenses were approved for the Autumn on Parade in Oregon which will take place October 5th and 6th along with the tractor show for the event.

Recognition was given to City Clerk Charlene Ruthe and Ray Hawn from the Street Department and animal control for their 20 years of service with the city. Each received a plaque.
