Gas prices have dropped in Illinois

Gas prices are down seven-cents a gallon across Illinois from last week. According to "IllinoisGasPrices.com," the average price of unleaded gas in the state is three-54 a gallon, which is down from three-61 a gallon last week. Dixon is home for the lowest gas prices at three-14 a gallon. A BP station on the north end of Chicago has the highest price at four-49 a gallon.

In Rochelle today, the price for unleaded fuel is $3.49 a gallon, 5 cents cheaper than the state average. It's also 35 cents higher than the City of Dixon.
