Latest Phone Scam Concerns Fake Court Summons

In the latest phone scam to hit the region, you receive a call from someone claiming to be trying to serve you with a court summons. The caller then starts asking for personal information and threatening you with a warrant if you don't comply.

Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski says that you need to verify before giving out personal data.

The scam has been reported in a number of nearby counties.
