Man Stabbed, Killed Following Giants/Dodgers Game

Sep 26, 2013 1:37 PM

A man is dead after he was stabbed following last night's Giants/Dodgers game at San Francisco's AT&T Park.  San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr says 24-year-old Jonathan Denver was stabbed at about 11:30 p.m. a few blocks south of the ballpark.  Suhr says it's not known whether Denver attended the game, but he was wearing Dodgers gear.  Police have three people in custody and are talking to others who saw the fight.

The deadly stabbing occurred on the same night that a portion of ticket sale proceeds were donated to the Bryan Stow Fund.  Stow is a Giants fan who was severely beaten and left with long-term brain injuries after a Dodgers-Giants game in Los Angeles two years ago.  Two Southern California men are awaiting trial in connection with the brutal attack on Stow.
