Several local soccer teams were in action Thursday.

Calvary Christian defeated the West Liberty-Salem JV 5-1.

Alex McGillis and Ian McGillis each scored 2 goals and Dan Salmonowicz added a goal.

Alex McGillis and Ben Tanner each delivered an assist.

Calvary improves to 8-0-1 on the season.

Middle School County Soccer:

Bellefontaine shut out Benjamin Logan Gold 4-0.

EJ Edu, Lilli LeVan, Anne West, and Caitlyn Shumaker each scored a goal.

Sean McClain contributed an assist.

LCS Elite steamrolled Benjamin Logan Black 7-0 at Champions Field.

Nikolas Vance and Xander Vance each scored two goals.

Logan Ingle, Cole Overbey, and Kaleb Benny each added a goal.

Nikolas Vance, Xander Vance, and Benny each added assists.

David Haley recorded the shutout.

Jade Lewis, Landon Siebeneck, and Ethan Pequignot had great defensive games.

Morgan Coppel was named player of the week for Elite.

Youth:

The High Point Stars U10 tied visiting Classic Eagles Thunder 2-2.

Connor Defibaugh and Beau Salyer each scored for the Stars.
