Penn Yan Drug Dealer Sentenced to Prison

The man considered by Yates County law enforcement as Penn Yan’s biggest drug dealer will spend the next nine years in state prison.

Jeffrey Kearns pleaded guilty in Yates County Court Tuesday to multiple counts of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance for selling cocaine and heroin on at least 5 occasions.

                                                           

The 25 year old will be sentenced December 3rd as a second felony offender after being convicted 7 years ago on a sexual abuse charge.
