Canandaigua Woman Arrested After Harassing Boyfriend

On September 26th, at or about 7:52 PM 48 year old Kelly Close of Canandaigua was arrested for 4 counts of harassment (violations) and resisting arrest (class a misdemeanors). She was arrested at the Wood ridge Motel located at 4459 Lakeshore Drive in the Town of Canandaigua. She was charged initially with harassing her boyfriend by scratching and pushing him during an argument. After arrest, she began to resist Deputies efforts. She kicked a Deputy several times in his legs and pushed against him while trying to place her in his patrol vehicle. She also attempted to bite the same Deputy she kicked and attempted too bite another Deputy assisting during the incident. Neither Deputy was injured during the incident. Ms. Close was arraigned in the Canandaigua Town Court. She was remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 insurance bond.
