Three Charged After Out of Hand Party

Sheriff Deputies responded to investigate the report of a possible underage drinking party. Upon deputies arrival subjects were observed fleeing from the residence. Shea, Stedman and Haines were located as the property leasee's and admitted that they had a party that had gotten out of hand. Deputies located 144 subjects all under the age of 21 inside of the residence. Numerous types of alcoholic beverages, marihuana and prescription medications were located inside the residence. All three were charged with UNLAWFUL DEALING WITH A CHILD, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIHUANA, ONTARIO COUNTY SOCIAL HOST LAW & POSSESSldN ALCOHOL UNDER THE AGE OF 21 WITH THE INTENT TO CONSUME. HAINES was also charged with CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 7^th . All three will appear in the Town of Hopewell fcourt at a later date.
