Luxemburg-Casco was tied up in a defensive battle last night in Freedom for a high school boys soccer game. A 1-0 win for the Spartans featured an Austin Nellis goal. Keegan Sewell was really the player on display. The goalie earned the shutout and helped L-C to a (7-4-3) overall record.

N.E.W. Lutheran remains the top team in the Packerland Conference after a dominating 4-0 win over Kewaunee. Sam Schaefer again was the leading scorer for the Blazers. He netted a pair of
goals. Sam Brock and Nathan Schaefer also added a goal each.
