County lawmakers begin budget review next week

Work will begin on Tuesday as the County Legislature begins it's review of County Executive Greg Edwards' proposed 2014 budget.  Home committees will play a role in the review process according to Legislature Chairman Jay Gould.

Edwards' proposed budget includes a 24 cent increase in the county's tax rate which now stands at $9.15 per thousand full value.  Gould says he hopes the legislature can hold the line on taxes.
