Canadaigua Woman Jailed After Kicking Deputy

48-year-old  Kelly Lee Close of Canandaigua is charged with four counts of harassment and resisting arrest after she kicked an Ontario County Sheriffs deputy several times and tried to bite him. 

Deputies had gone to the Wood Ridge Motel on Lakeshore Drive Thursday night around 8 p.m. when  Close and her boyfriend got in a argument. She kicked the deputy in his legs a number of times and ,  pushed him while he tried to stick into a patrol car. Along the way she nipped at the  deputy and then tried to bite another deputy. After arraignment Close was  sent to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of on thousand dollars cash bail.
