Police Reports for Saturday

Checking local police reports, Alton Police arrested a number of people in connection with a Thursday night drug raid. 56-year-old Enlow Ringor, of the 2600 block of Walnut, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. 36-year-old Eric Griffin of the 1300 block of Washington Avenue, 44-year-old Javanda Smith of the 2600 block of Walnut, 55-year-old William Shorter of the 2600 block of Walnut, and 67-year-old Vernon Northern of the 2400 block of Powhattan Street, are all charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

East Alton Police were holding 28-year-old William M. Mundy of the 500 block of Lincoln on a warrant. There was no one new reported lodged in the Wood River Jail during our morning check.
