bellvue robbery

The Brown County Sheriff's Office released a detailed description of the person who robbed a Bellevue gas station with a handgun Thursday night.

Deputies say they were called to the Bellevue Express in the 1300-block of Bellevue Street just before 9:00 p.m.

The robber is described as a black woman with a medium to dark brown complexion, looking to be in her 20s. She was about 5'7" or 5'8".

She wore a dark blue pullover hoodie sweatshirt with a large pocket on the front, blue jeans, and dark shoes. She covered the lower half of her face with a blue bandana, which was a lighter shade of blue than the sweatshirt. She had a black handgun.

She got away with cash. Authorities rarely say how much is taken in a robbery.

She was last seen going north on foot.

No one was hurt.
