Canandaigua Centennial Time Capsule

(CANANDAIGUA) --  Canandaigua's Centennial Committee is getting ready to fill a small time capsule with momentos that show what life is like here in 2013.

Committee Chair Nicole Mahoney says papers and small trinkets are best because of the size of the box they will be using.

All submissions must be received by December 1st  . The capsule will be sealed at a City Council meeting in February and then stored away at the Ontario County Historical Society for  at least 50 years, with instructions not to be opened before April 2063.
