Fit Families Program Starting This Week

Wednesday marks the start of a healthier community for the Southern Tier. Arnot Health and Southern Tier Pediatrics will hold the Fit Families in the Southern Tier series for the next ten weeks. Registered Nurse Carleen Masters says this program hopes to help overweight children or adolescents.

The program is held at the New Beginnings United Methodist Church in Elmira, and involves the help from a lot of different community organizations including local fitness consultants and local nutritionists.
