Small Fire Extinguished Quickly

Around 9:00 this morning, Sturgeon Bay firefighters responded to a call about a fire that broke out on the second floor of a home on North Country View Road.

The SBFD responded promptly to find the fire was contained mostly in a back bedroom of the home and it was put out quickly. There was still smoke rising from the home after the initial fire was extinguished – so firefighters began investigating crawl spaces and the exterior of the house for exposure.

Four adults, one child and pets exited the home safely as the fire broke out.
