Illinois lawmakers were reluctant to give-in to Governor Quinn’s demand that they vote for pension reform before they could be paid. But the question is will they finally vote now that they can get their money? State Rep Kwame Raoul says they’re still trying to reach deal.

Governor Quinn was hoping his move to cut lawmakers’ salaries would speed up the process on getting a pension solution. But the move seems to have backfired. There’s still no bill on the table and a judge has ordered the state to pay lawmakers their money.
