Two injured in high speed rollover wreck

A local driver and passenger were injured in a high speed rollover crash on County Road 13 near Township Road 31 (about four miles west of Bellefontaine) Sunday afternoon around 5:30.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Sean Brisson, 26, of 108 North Springhill Street, Bellefontaine, was driving a Corvette westbound on 13 when he lost control. The car went off the left side of the road and rolled several times in a field.

Brisson was transported to Bellefontaine Regional Airport by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS. He was then flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Passenger Michael Brenner, 19, of 728 Township Road 31 North, Bellefontaine, suffered minor injuries. He was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.

The accident remains under investigation and multiple charges are pending.

The Corvette suffered disabling damage.
