Drunk driver charged for hit-skip accident at local bar

A Russells Point woman was arrested following a hit-skip accident at Captain's Point, 305 East Harrison Street, Lakeview, Sunday morning around 2:10.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Stacy Oakley, 37, of 526 Grand Avenue, backed into another vehicle while leaving the bar.

Oakley, who was driving a green Dodge pickup, struck a 2007 Saturn Vue owned by David Garrison of 11344 Chinook Path, Lakeview.

Witnesses gave deputies a description of the suspect vehicle and its license number.

Authorities found the pickup on Elliott Avenue in Russells Point.

Oakley denied being in a crash, but deputies found damage to her rear bumper.

She was charged with OVI, leaving the scene, and open container.

No one was injured.
