A driver distracted while talking on his cell phone crashed east of Zanesfield Sunday night around six o'clock.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that James Jones Jr., 58, of Galloway, was driving a '99 Honda Civic eastbound on County Road 153 about a mile east of County Road 28 when he lost control, then went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail.
Jones, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured.
He was cited for failure to control.
The Civic suffered disabling damage.
