Government Shutdown Won't Impact Coast Guard Station

If the Federal Government does shut down at midnight, operations at the US Coast Guard station at Sturgeon Bay will continue without interruption, according to Lt. Paul Rhynard of Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington.

The last shutdown of the Federal Government was in December of 1995 and lasted 21 days.
