Lady Tigers go five sets against Southeastern – Monday volleyball highlights

West Liberty-Salem had the district’s volleyball teams in action Monday.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity girls topped Southeastern in 5 sets: 19-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-14, and 15-13.

Kylie Gilroy had 18 digs and 29 assists and Rachel Ritter totaled 23 digs.

The Lady Tigers improve to 9-7 on the season.

The West Liberty-Salem JV lost to Southeastern in 2 sets: 25-23 and 25-23.

Kiana Reames and Emily Schultz each tallied 5 digs.

The JV Lady Tigers fall to 6-7 on the year.

The West Liberty-Salem 8th grade lost to Springfield Catholic in 3 sets: 28-26, 20-25, and 19-25.

Allie Yoder recorded 11 points and Abby Dillon added 9 points.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade beat Springfield Catholic in 3 sets: 25-23, 23-25, and 27-25.

Kelsey Day tallied 11 points and Kaylee Harrison contributed 10 points.
