IDOT Announces Railroad Crossing Closure Illinois Route 133 in Oakland

The Illinois Department of Transportation District 7 is coordinating with Eastern Illinois Railroad on a project to improve the railroad crossing on IL Rt. 133 in Oakland. The project is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 7, 2013 through Thursday, October 10, 2013.

Eastern Illinois Railroad and IDOT are working together to rebuild the crossing surface. During construction, IL Rt. 133 will be closed to all traffic, at the crossing. A detour is planned to utilize
N. Logan Street, E. Main Street, and S. Teeter Street.

Every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to the traveling public, property owners and commercial establishments. Please reduce your speed while traveling through this work zone.
