Blackhawks open up the season at home tonight

The Blackhawks raise the curtain on a new season tonight at United Center when they host the Washington Capitals. Chicago is entering the season looking to become the first team since the Detroit Red Wings in 1997 and 1998 to repeat as Stanley Cup champions. The puck drops at 7:00.
