The Humane Society of Yates County has taken up a fundraiser that's really near and dear to our hearts at WFLR, our station cat Wiffler. Our feline friend lost 6 pounds in approximately 2 months and was diagnosed with feline hepatic lipidosis, a disease that shuts down an animal's liver. After two lengthy stays at Millstone Veterinary Clinic in Dundee, the Humane Society wanted to help out Wiffler and his vet bill costs. President Mary Schleiermacher says a fundraising idea was formed.
