1 In 73 Chance Of Hitting A Deer In Iowa

Iowa is among the most likely states for drivers to hit a deer with their vehicle.  State Farm Insurance has released new figures for this year, showing drivers in the Hawkeye State have a one-in-73 chance of running into a deer this fall.  Only West Virginia and Montana have higher odds of a car-deer crash.  The odds have improved a bit from last year, when State Farm put the chances of such a crash in Iowa at one-in-67.
