Physical activity could treat heart disease as effectively as drugs, a new study says. Researchers at Harvard and Stanford universities found no differences between exercise and drug treatment for people with heart disease or prediabetes. And the study involving nearly 340-thousand people found that exercise was more effective than drugs for people recovering from a stroke. The study is published in this week's edition of the "British Medical Journal."
