EIU Student Arrested During Traffic Stop

On Monday, Charleston Police arrested Eastern Illinois University Student 22-year-old Dante D. Lloyd, of Charleston, during a traffic stop on 9th Street. Lloyd was taken into custody for an Indiana arrest warrant for a probation violation stemming from an Aggravated Robbery with a gun. Lloyd also had an arrest warrant for Obstructing Justice in Coles County. Lloyd was also charged with being a Fugitive from Justice.
