Algoma & Kewaunee Move Up In State Football Rankings

Kewaunee only moved up two spots to number six in Division 5 despite beating a top five team in Division 4 the week before. Chilton is still ranked eighth in Division 4 and the Storm steamrolled them last Friday night. Apparently, the quality win wasn’t enough to spring board them past a few other (6-0) teams and one team at (5-1) on the way to the top of Division 5 rankings.

Algoma is now the third ranked team in Division 6, a boost of one spot in the state poll. The Wolves moved up a spot following a loss by Edgar to Stratford last Friday.

The fourth team ranked in the top ten in the state in the Olympian/Packerland Conference according to WisSports.net is Roncalli. This week, they moved up two spots to number three in Division 5.
