A Valparaiso Indiana man was ticketed by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department for speeding 110 mph in a 65 zone after a traffic stop at 10:48 Monday night.

19 year old Abdulmajed Ainsa of Valparaiso was pulled over on I-80 between Geneseo and Atkinson.

The offense equates to a misdemeanor criminal charge and the subject posted $200 bond and was released.

Sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop on I-80 between Geneseo and Atkinson at 12:44 Tuesday morning and arrested 19 year old Lucas Johnson of Kewanee on charges of speeding, driving on a suspended license, possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphania. A passenger in the vehicle, 48 year old Daren Wahomble of Colorado was wanted on warrants from Illinois. Both men were taken to the Henry County Jail.
