Former West Liberty-Salem volleyball standout Paige Parker achieved a milestone at the collegiate level Tuesday night.
Parker, who's a senior at The College of Wooster, recorded her 1,000th career kill in the Fighting Scots home opener against league rival Denison University.
Wooster dropped the match 3-1. The Fighting Scots (5-14, 0-3 NCAC) had played 18 straight matches on the road entering the contest.
Parker finished with 12 kills. She is the seventh player in program history to reach 1,000 kills, and the first since KateLynn Riley accomplished the feat during the 2008 season.
Paige holds the school's single season record for 1,226 attempts. She is third for kills in a season with 425 and fifth for service aces in a season with 36.
Parker also reached the 1,000 kill mark at West Liberty-Salem with 1,043.
