A local motorcyclist was arrested following a minor accident near Belle Center Tuesday morning around 11:20.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Rick Milliron, 56, of 309 West Buckeye Street, Belle Center, was riding a 1987 Harley-Davidson on County Road 39 near New Richland when he laid the bike down.
A deputy on patrol in Belle Center was alerted by a passing motorist who saw Milliron weaving and driving left of center moments before the crash.
The deputy responded and saw Milliron picking up the motorcycle on County Road 39 near County Road 97.
Milliron, who was not injured, showed signs of impairment from prescription medication.
He failed field sobriety tests and refused a urine test.
Milliron was then charged with OVI, failure to control, and not wearing a helmet as a new motorcycle driver.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The motorcycle suffered light damage.
