Update: Moline Police Release Statement on David Harker Case

Moline Police via spokesman Detective Scott Williams, have stated "We have no reason to suspect foul play but must await autopsy." The response came after Moline Police were asked to comment on Harker's father, Dennis's statement via Facebook that Harker's death was 'entirely accidental.'

The vigil that was planned for Lincoln Park in Rock Island at 8 Pm this evening will go on now as a memorial to David Harker.

Moline Police have released a statement regarding the body found at Buffalo Shore Park in Buffalo, Iowa earlier identified as 28 year old David Harker of Rock Island. Moline Police are confirming what the family of David Harker released earlier today, the body found was that of David Harker who went missing Early on the morning of Sunday, September 29th. However, while Moline Police are stating that the investigation into the circumstances of Harker's death is ongoing, Harker's father, via the Help Find David Harker Facebook page, has stated that his son's death was 'entirely accidental' and 'no crime expected at all.'
