Spay / Neuter Group Looking for Shelter

The SNIP Alliance is hoping to fix more animals in the Riverbend, but one of its partners needs a more permanent place to store its mobile clinic. A storage area that would hold an average sized RV is what is being sought by OpSpot. If they cannot keep the clinic in Alton over the winter, the number of spay and neuter events will be drastically reduced.

SNIP President Sandra Eaves says they don't necessarily have to have something inside, just undercover, like a carport.

The vehicle is 11 feet tall and 23 feet long. Eaves says they have fixed over 1,200 pets in the last 18 months, and the money has come through to add more to that number. If you can help out, call 402-6565.
