Computer Courses at SSP

Starting Monday, anyone 55 or older can take a pair of beginner's computer courses at Senior Services Plus in Alton.  With an increased demand for beginner's courses, the agency is launching "Basic Computer" and "Basic Internet" October 7.  The cost is $35 per person per class.

Village of Bethalto's Jeff Allsman will be teaching the courses at Senior Services Plus on Mondays throughout the month.  Bethalto donated the new equipment, according to the center's events and activities coordinator Kim Campbell.

Campbell comments

Each participant will receive a take home manual on their subject.  If you would like more information or to sign up, call 618-465-3298, extension 100.  Space is limited to 10 participants per course.
