Some great news out of Albany for people with developmental disabilities and for those that work with and care for them. Governor Andrew Cuomo has restored the 90-MILLION dollars cut in funding from the state budget earlier this year to the state Office of People with Developmental Disabilities. Arc of Yates Executive Director Kate Ring says the restoration of funding would not have been possible without the efforts of two local elected officials.
Of the restoration, Senator O'Mara called it quote, one of this year’s most important actions out of Albany.
