Charleston Police Department Responds to Two Vehicle Collision

The Charleston Police Department responded to a two vehicle collision on September 27th. 66-year-old William L. Hay, of Charleston, was stopped at a red light at the intersection of 18th Street and Lincoln Avenue with a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Brittany M. Waldvogel, of Charleston, stopped behind his vehicle. Waldvogel told police that she thought Hay had begun to make his turn, so she acclerated, ultimately striking the back of Hay's vehicle.
