Registration For Annual Christmas Parade Underway

Plansforthe Annual Clinton Christmas Parade are already underway. Marian Brisard, Executive Director of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, says the beauty of the parade is that it's free. Anyone can apply for an entry as long as they register with the Chamber.

Brisard explains everyone can take part in the Christmas Parade. While they encourage floats, vehicles and walkers can be a part as well. Area bands also participate in the festivities. This year's theme will be "Christmas Fun for Everyone".

Deadlines for registration are November 6th. That way the order of floats can be planned in advance.

Applications for this year's grand marshal are due on October 25th in order for the Chamber Board to have time to review applications. Letters can submitted regarding grand marshals as well.
