Stillman Valley's Lalor named 1 of top coaches in Illinois

Stillman Valley High School Head Football Coach Mike Lalor has been selected as 1 of the top 8 football coaches in Illinois in the USA Today contest.

The paper is trying to determine who is the best football coach in Illinois and the country. People can go on line at usatodayhss.com and vote until October 8th at 11am.

The other 7 football coaches in Illinois include:
**Chris Andriano (Montini)
**Dan Sharp (Joliet Catholic)
**Dave Inserra (Maine South)
**Derek Leonard (Rochester)
**Frank Lenti (Chicago Mt. Carmel)
**Ken Leonard (Springfield Sacred-Heart Griffin)
**Ron Muhitch (Wheaton Warrenville South).

Lalor is in his 16th year as Head Coach at Stillman Valley High School with 4 State Championships.

The USA Today contest will have 51 winners from each state along with Washington D.C.. They will advance to regional competition. The 8 regional winners will move on to the national round. The Champion will be announced after voting is completed on October 29th.
