Record Low Ratings For "Ironside" Debut

The first outing of NBC's revamped version of "Ironside" is delivering some rusty ratings for the network. The drama starring Blair Underwood as the wheelchair-bound detective made famous by Raymond Burr, drew six-point-eight million viewers for a one-point-four rating Wednesday night. That gives "Ironside" the dubious distinction of being NBC's lowest-rated fall drama debut ever, according to "Entertainment Weekly." The previous low was NBC's short-lived "Playboy Club" that posted a one-point-six rating upon its debut in 2011.

On the other end of the ratings spectrum, Rebel Wilson's new ABC comedy, "Super Fun Night," is off to a strong start. The show's first episode brought in eight-point-two-million viewers and a three-point-two rating with a lead-in from ABC Emmy winner "Modern Family" on Wednesday night.
